Do you know what AEP is and why it’s important?

🗓️ Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs from October 15 through December 7 every year.

This is an important time for people who already have Medicare to review their current coverage and see if their plan still meets their needs for the upcoming year.

During AEP, you may be able to:

✅ Change your Medicare Advantage plan
✅ Switch to a different Medicare Advantage plan
✅ Change your Medicare prescription drug (Part D) plan
✅ Switch between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage, depending on your situation
✅ Review changes to premiums, benefits, drug coverage, and provider networks

💡 Why should you review your plan every year?

Medicare plans can change their costs, benefits, drug formularies, and provider networks from year to year. Even if you’ve been happy with your plan, it’s a good idea to review your options before making a decision.

📅 Important dates:
October 15: AEP begins
December 7: AEP ends
January 1: New coverage generally begins
